For the VYO, 2010 is very busy with three rehearsals in a row in January along with Strings in the Schools on January 22nd and followed by the Annual Dinner Concert and Silent Auction at Delta High School on the 30th of January. Be sure to check the Printable Schedule (PDF) for this 1st Semester. Strings in Schools will begin at Hotchkiss K-8, move to Lincoln Elementary in Delta with a final performance/demonstration at Cottonwood Elementary in Montrose. Lunch will be at Daveto’s in Delta. Items for the Silent Auction should be brought the 16th and 23rd during the Concertino and Philharmonic Rehearsals. Cindie Sorensen will be collecting all items including gift certificates.
The second semester will begin on the 6th of February and culminate on the April 30th and May 2nd with concerts with the Valley Symphony Orchestra. We are still working out the date for our own Spring Concert either on May 7th or 14th at the Opera House in picturesque Ouray. A printed version will be available soon.
PS: Please

Mr. Todd would like to contact them (not to check up on you) but to discuss some of the future plans for the VYO and ask how the VYO can be mutual partners in developing your skills and the future of the VYO. PPs: Also, check this website regularly for additional information and the updated schedule.
