Have a song in your heart? Audition for the VSA Chorus! The VSA Chorus performs with the VSA Orchestra at the September and December concerts and has their own, standalone concert in March for a total of five performances (three concerts) during the season. Extra community performance opportunities will be announced to chorus members as they arise. 

Season 52 Auditions

The VSA Chorus is particularly interested in recruiting alto, tenor, and bass voices and will accept auditions between June 5th and August 5th, 2023. Please review the concert and rehearsal dates (below) to make sure you can commit, before auditioning.

Current VSA Chorus members do not need to audition, unless requested by the conductor.

Requirements

• Email an audition request to VSA Chorus Conductor Katy Kristoffersen to schedule an audition.
• Prepare an 8-16 bar selection to sing (unaccompanied)
• Sight-read a short selection provided during the audition
• Sing through voicing exercises for voice placement
